Are they going to stop making games for Xbox One?
Microsoft has confirmed that it has no plans to develop new games for the Xbox One and is instead focusing its efforts on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
The end is near. MS has announced that they're no longer developing Xbox One games, and there have already been many releases from major 3rd party publishers that have skipped Xbox One.
Microsoft quietly discontinued manufacturing all Xbox One consoles at the end of 2020, the company has revealed. As reported by The Verge, Microsoft has stated that it stopped producing Xbox One consoles at the end of 2020 in order to focus its efforts on its new generation of consoles.
Almost three years into the Xbox Series X/S lifecycle, Microsoft says it is no longer making games for the Xbox One. While the company will continue to support ongoing previous-generation titles like Minecraft and Halo Infinite, no Xbox Game Studios teams are working on new titles for the older console.
Goodbye, Xbox One. A new Xbox One hasn't been built in over a year. Microsoft stopped production at the end of 2020 to turn its focus to the then-new Xbox Series X|S, the company confirmed Thursday. The Xbox One debuted in 2013.

Speaking to The Verge, the senior director of Xbox product marketing, Cindy Walker, said that it quietly ceased all last-gen production more than a year ago: "To focus on production of Xbox Series X/S, we stopped production for all Xbox One consoles by the end of 2020," she explained.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer has admitted that Microsoft continues to suffer a substantial loss on every Xbox Series X and Series S sold. That's in contrast to Sony, which no longer makes a loss on the PS5.
First things first, we are getting two brand new Xbox consoles in the latter part of 2024. Don't let your joy fly unbound just yet as these will be minor refreshes of the current generation Xbox Series X and Series S consoles instead of being full-fledged next-gen consoles.
Hardware revenue dips 13 percent year-over-year in Microsoft's latest earnings report. Xbox just reported its Q4 and full year earnings for the period ending June 30, 2023, which included hardware revenue declines year-over-year of 13%.

Based on these revenues, we can see that: PlayStation made $11.3 billion more than Xbox, and $14.7 billion more than Nintendo. Xbox made $3.4 billion more than Nintendo.
Is there a new Xbox coming out in 2024?
Microsoft is planning to refresh its Xbox Series X console in 2024 with an all-new design and features. Codenamed Brooklin, the unannounced console refresh has been accidentally revealed in new FTC v. Microsoft documents this week.
